Google Analytics is a free web analytics package provided by Google which allows you to collect and analyse in depth statistics about your website visitors.

I offer a number of services to get you up and running with Google Analytics.

Google Analytics Setup (from £75- £200)

The Analytics setup will vary from site to site, for most it’s a very simple process. The value in hiring a freelance professional to do the installation for you is I will ensure you get the support you need to get the best use out of the system

  • Setup a Google Analytics profile for your site
  • Install the Analytics tracking code
  • Install any advanced tracking required to monitor important events like downloads, flash interactions, online purchases
  • Setup ‘conversion goals’ in Google Analytics to help you better understand which parts of your site are performing best and which marketing campaigns are providing the best return on investment
  • Automate reporting on a daily, weekly or monthly basis so you can get summary reports by email
  • Walk you through the software so you can get the statistics you need and ignore the reports you don’t

Website testing and optimisation (from £150/ test)

Using Google Analytics ‘Website Optimiser’ facility I can setup what are known as A/B or multi-variant tests on your website to compare the performance of 2 or more alternate designs. By establishing which designs work best and lead to the most sales or enquiries through your website you can make informed choices about the design and content of your site- no more guesswork!

As with all my services I will price each project individually based on your exact requirements. Typically the testing of alternate layouts on 1 page will cost between £100- £200 depending on whether you want to design the pages yourself or want me to do it for you.
